12 May Ikusmira
His work refers to universal, elemental and basic figures that exist in the repertory of the human psyche. (circle, square, triangle, sphere, straight line and curve …) . His work is easy to interpret, and that is exactly where its great attraction and beauty lies. Faithful to Mies van der Rohe’s principle (“Less is More”) he uses the abstract vocabulary of line and plane, geometrical rigour and natural materials. Ikusmira was originally presented accompanied by Kirolari zaharra (1974-2009), a work by the sculptor that added a human scale to the whole.
